Her dad abandoned the family many years ago, so Yamilka’s mom works as a housekeeper to try to provide for her family. Yamilka loves to play with her friends and likes to play baseball. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite food is cereal. She enjoys math and hopes to be a teacher someday.
