Abdul lives with his parents. His father is a fisherman and his mother is currently unable to find work. Abdul helps his father at the Pepper Wharf, catching, cleaning and selling fish for their livelihood. When there is heavy wind, it becomes impossible for his father to get a catch so providing for his family becomes even more difficult. Abdul usually makes several visits to friends and neighbors to find food. Abdul is currently in Class VI. Thanks to 25 Project, he is able to consistently go to school and his favorite subject is religious & moral education.
