Thaimu was born in 2006. Thaimu lives with his mother, who sells soap for a living. His parents separated years ago and his father does not provide any support for Thaimu or his four siblings. Since his birth, his father has only rejected Thaimu so he has never had the love of a father. His mother cannot adequately provide food or meet Thaimu's other basic needs. Realizing this, Thaimu spends his time working with a welder while he learns the trade. He also moves around the community looking for people who need water and are willing to pay him to fetch it. Thaimu attended school but was forced to stop school due to the lack of funds to pay for school tuition, uniforms, school supplies and other school fees. He would love to return to school if given the opportunity. Thaimu would like to become an attorney in the future.
