Tejaswini comes from the city of Raipur. Her childhood has been difficult. Her father is physically handicapped but is able to bring in a small income as a mechanic adding air to vehicle tires. Her mother cannot find work to help take care of her family's needs. They simply do not have enough income to provide for the family. Tejaswini enjoys playing basketball, and her favorite color is purple. She likes science and hopes to become a doctor one day.
