Subhshni was born and brought up in a Christian family. Her father abandoned the family when she was just six months old. Subhshni, her sister, and her brother were left alone during this difficult time. None of Subhshni's relatives were willing to help support them. Subhshni's mother needed to find work immediately to try to provide for the family's needs. She found work in an office. Even though her elder sister Shraddha, joined Mercy Homes in 2007, Subhshni's mother continues to struggle to provide for her and her brother. Subhshni is now studying in class 4th and would like to continue her education.
