Sheka was born in 2009. His mother does not know the exact date of his birth so we celebrate his birthday on January 1st. Sheka lives with his mother, who is elderly and is not able to work. His father lives in the interior of the country. Sheka's father is not in good condition. He is an alcoholic and seems to be mentally unstable. His mother is not able to provide food or meet Sheka's other basic needs. Sheka has found work fetching water for people around the Krio Town community for a small amount of food or cash. Sheka has never been to school due to the lack of funds to pay for school tuition, uniforms, school supplies, and other school fees. He would love to go to school if given the opportunity. Sheka would like to become a Christian social worker in the future.
