Sebastian lives in Batey Lecheria in the Dominican Republic. Batey is the Haitian word for village. The older generations in Batey Lecheria are Haitian. Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult.  Sebastian lives with his mom, stepfather, and sister, Leisi, in a small home. His stepfather works as a farmer to provide for the family. Sebastian attends public school, and his favorite subject is math. He likes drawing and playing baseball with his friends. His favorite color is yellow, and he hopes to become a police officer one day.
