Sangeeta was born and brought up in a Hindu family. She has a younger sister and a brother. Her father left her mother and married another woman. Her mother started to work as a field laborer but it did not earn her enough money to provide for the family. One of the pastors told her about Mercy Homes and she requested Sangeeta stay there. Sangeeta likes to study language arts and she wants to become a lawyer one day. She enjoys painting in her free time.
