Sakshi was born and brought up in a Hindu family. Her father left her mother when she was very young, and her mother had been working as a daily wage laborer and taking care of her kids. Last year she died due to a brain stroke. Her father found out but only took brother to care for and Sakshi was left with no one. Someone in church asked if she could come to the Mercy Homes to stay. Sakshi likes to study science and wants to become a doctor one day. Her favorite color is red and she loves to play.
