Saidu was born in 2005. His aunt does not know the exact date of his birth so we celebrate his birthday on January 1st. Saidu lives with his aunt, who is a fish trader. He was living with his father but his father passed away in 2015 due to a severe Cholera outbreak. Since the death of his father, his mother stopped caring for him so his aunt decided to help him. Saidu's aunt however, cannot adequately provide food or meet Saidu's other basic needs. Realizing this, Saidu engages himself in fetching wood from the Tombo Forest. He then transports the wood to sell. Saidu has been working doing this since the death of his father. After joining the ministry, 25 Project has helped Saidu finish school and now he is in his first year of college and now working on staff at the ministry center. Saidu would like to be a professional soccer player in the future.
