Robinson lives in Batey Lecheria in the Dominican Republic. Batey is the Haitian word for village. The older generations in Batey Lecheria are Haitian. Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult. Robinson lives with his father, mother, and two siblings, Franklin and Anthony. His dad collects stones by the river for a living but has difficulty providing for his family. Robinson attends the public school, and math is his favorite subject. He loves playing outside with his friends, and his favorite color is yellow. Robinson hopes to become a veterinarian in the future because he loves animals.
