Rhude was born into a Christian family. Her father abandoned the family when Rhude was only six years old. Rhude has a seven-year-old sister, Natasha, who is also in 25 Project's sponsorship program. Her mother has always been a housewife and has not been able to acquire a job to provide even for the basic needs of her family. After Rhude's father left the family, they had no one to lean on for financial support. Therefore, Rhude's mother requested entrance for both of her daughters into 25 Project's sponsorship program.
