Patrick was born in 2007. His grandmother does not know the exact date of his birth so we celebrate his birthday on January 1st. Patrick lives with his grandmother who is a fish trader. His parents separated years ago leaving the responsibilities of caring for Patrick to his grandmother. While his grandmother works as a fish trader, she is elderly and cannot work as much as she needs to adequately provide for Patrick. Patrick does not receive sufficient food and his other basic needs are unmet. Realizing the limitations of his grandmother providing, Patrick found work fetching water for people on a commercial basis. Patrick was forced to stop school in Class I due to the lack of funds to pay for school tuition, uniform, school supplies and other school fees. But since being sponsored. he has been able to continue his education. Patrick would like to become a doctor in the future.
