Osman lives with his uncle. His uncle is a fisherman and has large family responsibilities. Osman's father died five years ago and his mother cannot take care of him. Because Osman's uncle has such a large family with many responsibilities, he cannot adequately provide food and other basic needs for his household. Osman has found work organizing fish to be dried in a fish building called Banda. In exchange for his work Osman either earns money or a portion of food. Osman has never been to school. His desire is to go to school if he given the opportunity. Osman would like to become a pastor in the future.
