Mohamed lives with his aunt, who breaks stone for a living. His parents died during the Ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone, one of the most affected communities. Because of his aunt's limited income, Mohamed spends much time at the wharf area doing all kinds of odd jobs (transporting fish baskets, clearing fish from nets, organizing fish to be dried, etc.) to earn both money and food. He frequently sleeps down at the wharf in case any fishing boats arrive late in the night. He stopped school during the Ebola outbreak but would love to continue if given the opportunity. His favorite subject is religious & moral education, and he'd like to be a teacher in the future.
