Both of Mohamed's parents stay in a different village than him. His father is a jobless old man and his mother has serious mental health illnesses. Mohamed's aunt saw that his parents could not take care of him because of their conditions, so she took him into her care. His aunt is a fruit seller in the Tombo community and cannot adequately provide food and other basic needs for Mohamed and the other children in her care. This leaves Mohamed to sell pepper at a market for a businesswoman. Mohamed has never attended school due to a lack of funds to pay for tuition, uniforms, school supplies and other school fees. He wishes to attend school if given the support and would love to be a pastor in the future. Mohamed's favorite pastime is football.
