Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult. Milagros lives with both of her parents and two siblings, Naomi and Maidelin. Her mother cannot find work, and her father occasionally works in construction. Their income cannot adequately provide for all of their children. Milagros attends public school and wants to become a nurse in the future. She enjoys studying mathematics and likes to run and play with her friends. Her favorite color is pink.
