When Mahima became double orphaned, she was not even able to understand what it meant to lose both parents. Mahima was born into a Christian, financially poor family. She has two older sisters and one younger brother. Mahima was just two years old when she lost her father. In 2003 her mother also passed away leaving them alone. Mahima's uncle brought her to Mercy Homes. She joined Mercy Homes and was admitted into class 1. Mahima is now studying nursing at a university and is expected to graduate in 2024. Mahima currently lives in the 25 Project Mercy Homes. She loves to read and dance and wants to be a nurse one day.
