Liyahluma lives with her mother and maternal grandparents. Her father passed away when she was just an infant. Liyahluma began attending Intlansi Christian School (ICS) in January of 2021, as an 8th grader. Liyahluma lives in Intlantsi Christian School at Fort White, South Africa during the week and goes home to her village on the weekend. She likes studying English in school and wants to be a doctor when she grows up.
