Israel lives with his mother and father. Both are petty traders, but they do not make enough to provide for their family’s basic needs. Israel has not been able to start school yet because of this. Israel feels very sad when he sees his friends leave for school in the mornings and he is left at home. Israel wants to be a doctor when he grows up, and his favorite food is rice and cassava leaf.
