Isaac lives in Batey Lecheria in the Dominican Republic. Batey is the Haitian word for village. The older generations in Batey Lecheria are Haitian. Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult. Isaac lives with his parents and three siblings; Alexis, Ingrid, and Railin. His mother is currently looking for work, and his father collects stones at the river for a living. However, his income can not adequately provide for all of their children. Isaac attends public school, and his favorite subject is math. He enjoys playing soccer, and his favorite color is blue. Isaac would like to become a doctor in the future.
