Ibrahim was born in 2006. His mother does not know the exact date of his birth so we celebrate his birthday on January 1st. Ibrahim lives with his mother, who sells cold water for a living. His dad left his mother and the family and remarried. He does not help with Ibrahim or his siblings in any way. Ibrahim's mother has three children and cannot adequately provide food for all of them. Realizing that his mother could not provide for his basic needs, Ibrahim found work helping people carry their loads to the market, park, or any agreed-upon location. Ibrahim was attending school but was forced to stop due to lack of funds to pay for school tuition, uniform, school supplies and other school fees. He wants to return to school if given the opportunity. Ibrahim wants to be the president of Sierra Leone in the future.
