Ibrahim lives with his grandparents. His grandfather is a carpenter. Ibrahim's parents could not provide for him, so they left Ibrahim with his grandparents when he was a baby. There are six grandchildren in the home, and his grandparents struggle to provide for their basic needs and school costs. Ibrahim is able to begin school each year, but when fees are due, he is sent home until the fees can be paid. This causes lapses in Ibrahims education. But thanks to being sponsored, he has been able to continue his education. Ibrahim loves riding bikes and wants to be a tailor one day.
