Hawanatu lives with her grandmother and siblings in the fishing village of Tombo. Hawanatu's grandmother struggles to find work, therefore life is difficult for Hawanatu. Hawanatu is a sweet girl who loves to help her grandmother with chores. When she is not helping, she enjoys playing balance ball with her friends.  Hawanatu's favorite color is pink, and her favorite food is rice and stew. She would love to be able to attend school as she dreams of becoming a doctor one day.
