Hassan lives in the fishing village of Tombo with his grandmother and siblings. His grandmother is unable to find work, so Hassan collects scrap metal to try to help provide for his family. Hassan's favorite color is yellow, and his favorite food is rice and stew. Hassan loves to play soccer with his friends, however, his biggest wish it to be able to go to school. Hassan is anxious to learn as he has big dreams of becoming the president one day.
