Foday lives with his uncle, who is a fisherman. His parents died when he was a child. His uncle has many responsibilities, including a wife and children of his own. He cannot sufficiently provide food and other needs for Foday which leads Foday to help neighbors sell their palm oil and charcoal to earn money. He was going to school but stopped due to lack of funds. He wants to continue if he has the opportunity. His favorite subject is science and one day he wants to be president of Sierra Leone. He loves football.
