Ezequiel lives with his parents and three younger siblings in the village of Batey Lecheria in the Dominican Republic. Lecheria is a predominately Haitian village. Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult. Ezequiel's dad collects construction materials for a living, and his mom is having trouble finding work. His dad's job does not provide enough income for the family to survive. Ezequiel currently attends public school, and his favorite subject is languages. In his free time, he likes to play baseball with his friends. His favorite color is blue, and he hopes to become a police officer in the future.
