Esteban's dad abandoned the family and his mom works in a cherry plantation, harvesting cherries, to try and provide for her family. Esteban speaks Spanish and attends the public school two miles from his village. During his free time, he likes soccer and hopes to play professionally. Esteban's favorite color is red.
