Emmanuel lost his mother when he was eight years old due to pneumonia. His father had nine children, five of which were boys, and Emmanuel is the youngest. Because his father could not take care of him at this tender age he sent him to go live with his aunt so that he would be well taken care of and continue to attend school. However, his aunt refused to send him to school because of a lack of funds. Emmanuel went out on the street to fend for himself. Thanks to his sponsorship, he has been able to continue his education. He likes to play the keyboard at church and loves studying Scripture.
