Elisnel lives in Batey Lecheria in the Dominican Republic. Batey is the Haitian word for village. Elisnel lives with his mother and five siblings in a small house. Elisnel's father went back to Haiti and got very sick and is unable to return. His mother does not work. Currently, people from the church provide for the family. Elisnel attends public school where his favorite subject is math. His favorite color is blue, and he enjoys playing football. Elisnel hopes to be a teacher one day.
