The older generations in Batey Lecheria are Haitian. Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult. Diosmairi lives with her mom, stepdad and her little brother. Her dad abandoned her when she was a toddler. Diosmairi attends public school, and her favorite subject is reading. In her free time, she likes playing baseball. She loves the color purple, and she would like to be a ballerina in the future.
