David was born in 2007. His mother does not know the exact date of his birth so we celebrate his birthday on January 1st. David lives with his mother who is currently jobless. His parents separated over nine years ago. David's dad pays little to no attention to him and will not help provide for his needs. His mother carries all of the responsibilities of David and her other four children. David does not get adequate food and his other basic needs are not met. This has led David to try and provide for himself by fetching water for people and helping transport loads to the Pepper Wharf Market. David was going to school but was forced to stop in Class VI due to the lack of funds to pay for school tuition, uniforms, school supplies and other school fees. David would love to return to school if given the opportunity. David would like to be a bank manager in the future.
