Dariela lives in the Dominican Republic in the village of Batey Lecheria with her grandmother. Her parents separated when she was younger. Her mom works as a housekeeper, and her dad occasionally works as a driver. Dariela’s biggest wish is to help her mom with her work, as her life has not been easy. Dariela’s favorite subject in school is math, and her favorite color is pink. She loves to play soccer, and her favorite food is rice and fried eggs. Dariela hopes to become a nurse one day.
