Ciara lives in the Dominican Republic in the village of Batey Lecheria with her mother. When Ciara was a year old, her father became very ill and passed away. Her mother works as a housekeeper to provide for her family, but Ciara’s biggest wish is that she would find a better job. Ciara is in third grade and loves math. In her free time, Ciara enjoys running and playing with dolls. Her favorite food is beans and rice, and she loves the color pink. She hopes to become a teacher one day.
