Bryanny lives in Batey Lecheria, a village on the outskirts of Santo Domingo located in the area of Los Alcarrizos. Villages are generally divided into Dominican villages or Haitian villages. Lecheria is a predominantly Haitian village. Like many villages in the Dominican Republic, people often settle and build makeshift homes on land they do not own. Bryanny lives with both parents and two younger siblings, Vianca and Brayan. Her parents are having trouble finding work. Her dad lost his job and now tries to do some construction work to provide for the family. Bryanny attends public school and loves to read and draw. Bryanny's favorite color is yellow, and her favorite sport is volleyball. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her friends. She wants to become a doctor in the future.
