Aminata lives with her mother who is physically disabled. Aminata's father died from the Ebola virus during the outbreak when she was 3 years old. Aminata's stepfather later abandoned the family, and her mother is not able to work to provide for their family. Animata's family relies on the kindness of others to survive. This allows Aminata the opportunity to attend school, but she has lapses when school tuition is due and is asked out of school until the money is raised. Aminata wants to become a lawyer in the future. Amimata is in Class 4, her favorite subject is English. She enjoys balance ball (dodge ball). Thanks to her sponsorship, she has been able to continue her education.
