Aminata lives with her mother who does petty trading to earn a living. Her father ran away from his responsibilities of providing for Aminata and her 2 siblings. This leaves the burden solely on Aminata's mother, and she is not able to provide for both their basic needs. Being the sole provider, Aminata's mother struggles to provide their school costs as well. Her mother was able to raise the money to enroll Aminata in Nursery (pre-K), but she was asked out of school when the balance payments were due. Aminata is in Class 1 and wants to be a police officer in the future. Her favorite subject is Language Arts. Thanks to her sponsorship, she has been able to continue her education.
