Alhassan lives with his mother and two siblings in the village of Monkey Bush in Sierra Leone. His father passed away, so his mother works as a hairdresser to try and provide for her family. However, she does not make enough to send her children to school or provide for their basic needs. Alhassan's favorite color is blue, and in his free time, he enjoys playing with his friends. Alhassan has never been to school, but he is eager to go and start learning! His favorite food is rice and cassava leaves. Alhassan's biggest prayer request is that he would grow to become a good leader in society.
