Life for Haitians in the Dominican is difficult. Alexandra lives with both of her parents and little brother, Julian. Her mother is trying to find work, and her father collects stones at the river for a living. Their income cannot adequately provide for their children. Alexandra attends public school, and her favorite subject is art. She enjoys playing baseball, and her favorite color is red. Alexandra wants to become a teacher in the future.
