Abass lives with his aunt who works as a hairdresser. Abass’ father passed away when he was 3 years old. His mother had no way of providing for him, so she left Abass to his aunt. With 9 chldren in her care, his aunt was able to enroll him in school this year, but Abass is asked out of school when more tuition is due. Abass misses out on what he should be learning until his aunt can raise the money needed for him to resume. Abass is in Class 1. His favorite subject is English, and he wants to be a lawyer when he grows up. Abass loves playing football with his friends after school, and his favorite food is rice and potato leaves.
