John was born into a very poor Christian family. His father was a farmer, and his mother was a housewife. His father and mother both passed away when John was only five months old. One of John's relatives took care of him for the next year and a half. Eventually, they gave John to one of the pastors who was running a church in his village. John joined Mercy Homes in 2006. He is currently studying at a local university. John wants to become a medical doctor. While John is in college, he still lives in the 25 Project Mercy Homes.
