Azingca is a vibrant young girl who loves the color red and playing netball.  She loves English and would like to be a dentist one day. Azingca’s favorite food is Samp!  Samp is made by cracking corn kernels and removing the outer layers. In the States, we call it hominy!   When Azingca is not at Intlantsi Christian School at Fort White, she lives with her grandmother in Lower Rabula. While Fort White has the most modern amenities in the area, the village where Azingca lives has no indoor plumbing.  Azingca and other children help collect water from a communal tap and use an outhouse.  Though they have access to electricity, most villagers cannot afford to pay for an electric meter.  In her village school, Azingca might not have had the chance to advance beyond 8th grade.
